Katie's Day Off hit it big with the fans, many complimenting Johnny for his alleged "greatest acting performance ever" (although Johnny had a few mixed feelings about that). The movie starts off with Katie (played by the infamous Johnny), an overworked librarian who finally gets a day off. Her grip on reality has slowly been slipping away, so this seemingly fun-filled respite turns into a psychadellic nightmare. James C. Lion plays the roll of her fiancé, Jeff, who leaves her safe and sound in the morning in their humble home in the suburbs with no worries at all. Then Steve, her coworker (played by Nels Ovestrud) visits her during the day; unfortunately, things go downhill from there.

This movie was filmed on digital video and has some new great psychadelic effects. We think this movie is a step in a new direction for DTF, moving towards a more fun yet twisted dark comedy. We can't give much else out without spoiling the fun, so just watch as her day unravels.
